The blogosphere is vast and coming into the mainstream as a form of publishing and or marketing. However it so vast that is hard to to get your voice heard, let alone make a buck from it. So what are the secrets to getting cut through and or monetising your creative efforts. The questions we will put to our panel include:
- Do old journalism rules apply?
 - How do you get picked up and read by thousands?
- How do you develop compelling content?
- Will your infrastructure scale to the big time?
- What lesson's don't you have to learn the hard way?
- So really, how do you monetise to make more than pocket money?
- What are the trends and what's next?

Amanda Gome Amanda Gome is the founder and publisher of SmartCompany.com.au, Australia's #1 news and resources site for business owners and managers.
Previously she had been an editor and senior writer at BRW magazine where her passion and interest in entrepreneurship led her to founding and editing the Fast 100 list and the Emerging Companies section.
Over two decades in business journalism, Amanda has interviewed almost every entrepreneur in this country worth their salt ... and plenty that weren't! She is also an adjunct professor of business at RMIT University, lectures students in entrepreneurship and regularly comments on business.
Ross Hill Ross Hill is a young, inspired entrepreneur. With a Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship) from RMIT, he is now working at Deloitte Digital in Melbourne. As a freelance web designer, he has been creating websites for over 10 years and has developed a diverse portfolio of his own web properties. He is co-founder of thehive.org.au and is a recognised social media consultant. He advises employers and the online crowd on how to use social media to communicate more effectively and how to use new media to build their personal brand and credibility.
Darren Rowse Darren Rowse is founder and editor of two of Australia's most read blogs - ProBlogger.net and Digital-Photography-School.com. Darren started blogging in 2002 and has been making a full time
living from blogging since 2004. His blogs reach over 3 million readers
a month and he interacts with tens of thousands of others via Twitter. Darren is also a co-founder of the blog network b5media and is co-author of the book 'ProBlogger' (Wiley 2008).
